Welcome to The Flower Box Saltford
Hello, I’m Ali, the founder of The Flower Box Saltford. My journey into floristry started with a wreath workshop, and it’s safe to say that the joy of creating something beautiful with flowers completely changed my life. Today, I get to share that same spark with others through my range of flower arranging workshops in Saltford, near Bath and Bristol.
I’ve built my business around one core belief: I’m only happy if you’re happy. That means every workshop, bouquet, and installation is designed with care, creativity, and a genuine desire to make you smile. Whether you’re creating a Christmas wreath, celebrating with a hen party, or choosing meaningful funeral flowers, my goal is always to make the experience special and personal.
This year, I’m especially excited to invite you to my Christmas Flower Arranging Workshops, the perfect way to welcome the festive season. With mince pies, mulled wine, laughter, and creativity, it’s a chance to pause the busy rush of December and enjoy a few hours making something truly beautiful.
Why Join a Christmas Flower Arranging Workshop?
There’s something magical about making your own Christmas wreath. It’s not just a decoration – it’s a creative expression of your personality and a warm welcome for your family and guests. At our Christmas Wreath Workshops, I’ll guide you step by step, so you leave with something you’re proud of, even if you’ve never arranged flowers before.
Workshops are more than just crafting – they’re about community and connection. Many people come alone and leave with new friends, while others bring a group for a festive day out. It’s the perfect pre-Christmas tradition, filled with laughter, big smiles, and of course, big wreaths!
If you’re wondering about the creative possibilities, I’ll have everything ready for you: seasonal foliage, pine cones, cinnamon sticks, ribbons, and more. You’re also welcome to bring along extra decorations like baubles or keepsakes to make your wreath even more personal.

What to Expect from Our Christmas Wreath Workshops
Each Christmas Flower Arranging Workshop lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours, giving you plenty of time to relax and enjoy the process. I’ll welcome you with a festive drink and a mince pie, before guiding you through the techniques to create your wreath step by step.
Everything you need is provided, so you can focus on enjoying the creative flow. You’ll have a wide selection of materials, from fragrant cinnamon sticks and dried orange slices to rich greenery and festive ribbons. This variety ensures every wreath is unique – no two are ever the same.
Our workshops are suitable for all abilities. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve done flower arranging before, you’ll leave with a stunning creation ready to hang on your door, use as a centrepiece, or gift to someone special.
Creative Additions: Dried Flowers, Baubles & Hoops
While Christmas wreaths are the star of the season, many of our guests fall in love with other creative workshops too. From dried flower baubles to dried flower hoops and even mini bouquets, these options are wonderful if you’d like to explore floristry beyond Christmas.
Adding dried flowers to wreaths is also a growing trend. They bring a modern twist, and they last beautifully throughout the season. For some inspiration, check out this article on Christmas decorations using dried flowers (House Beautiful). You’ll see how dried elements add elegance and character.
If you’d like to continue experimenting after Christmas, I also run string dried flower workshops and living wreath workshops. These are perfect for keeping your creativity alive all year round.
Workshops for Every Occasion
Christmas is just one highlight in our calendar. At The Flower Box Saltford, I also host workshops for hen parties, birthdays, and creative get-togethers. Our hen party workshops are always a hit, giving brides-to-be and their friends a chance to celebrate with flowers.
For those who want to see my work in action, the portfolio page is full of inspiration. From weddings to seasonal installations, you’ll see how flowers can transform any space.
And of course, beyond events and workshops, I offer fresh and dried flower arrangements, funeral flowers, and bespoke creations to suit your needs. Every project is personal, and every arrangement is made with care.
